PeaZip : A Free Tool to Compress and Extract File Archives

PeaZip is an open source file and archive manager for Windows and linux. Compress files with PeaZip

Creating a new archive is very simple. One you’ve installed the software, Just drag and drop folder into the main program window or right-click them and choose ‘Add to Archive’. A new window will pop-up, it allows you to password protect the archive, change the default format or specify an output directory, if different from source location. Click OK when you’re ready to create the archive. You’ll be able to pause or stop the creation process at any time.

Extract a compressed Archive with PeaZip

To open an archive, right-click it for some options. You can choose simple extract files, save the files to a new folder or extract in a new directory.

Change Right-Click Context Menu

Right-click context menu provide an easy way to compress and extract files. You can also edit this menu; go to Options, and then System Integration. A new window will open, asking you to choose the entries you want, then click Next to change the right-click context menu settings.
