Did you know, Twitter has keyboard shortcuts ? When Twitter redesigned last year, it introduced a set of keyboard shortcuts for use in its new layout. To give your mouse wrist a rest, below is the list of useful Keyboard shortcuts.

n » to open composite tweet window and post a new status update ( or tweet)
r » reply to your selected tweet
t » to retweet
m » to send a direct message
Navigation
J » go to next tweet (works on homepage and your timeline)
k » go to previous tweet (works on homepage and your timeline)
space » press space bar to page down
Shift + space » to page up
/ » to jump to the search box. Before you press ‘/’ make sure the cursor is not on the search box nor on ‘what’s happening’ box.
. » press ‘.’ (the full stop) to move back to the top of the page or to check new feeds.
TimeLines
You can navigate your Twitter account by pressing G followed by first letter of the section you want to go.
g then h» go to home page
g then r » see your replies or mentions
g then m » for checking direct messages
g then p » go to your profile page
g then u » opens a search box so you can look for a specific person’s profile
