Doomi : A simple To-do List Management Application


Doomi is perhaps the most simple and user friendly to-do list application available for PC, Mac and Linux. This free, lightweight AIR-based task organizer will help you manage your workflow and getting things done. Its charm is its simplicity and cross-platform support.

When you run Doomi on your system , you will see a blue floating widget like in the image below. Unlike other Getting Things Done manager which are crammed with tons of confusing options, Doomi is all about entering and checking off items on to-do list.

Using Doomi is a quick, no hassle process. To setup a new task, just enter any to-do idea into the ‘Enter a to-do’ field. And, when you’ve completed the task, tick the box to cross it out. Ticking off action will automatically transfer finished jobs under old tasks. You can edit tasks by clicking on them and reorder tasks just by dragging. You can also set reminders to remind yourself about tasks in an almost effortless way.

Unfortunately, it does not sync tasks with any cloud based service, however this will not be an issue for most users. I am sure many users will gravitate to Doomi because of its simplicity and ease of use.
