Add-ons up your productivity, enhance your browsing experience and let you have some fun too. In this basic tutorial, we will show you how to install and manage Add-ons in Firefox browser.
Customize Firefox Browser with Add-ons
Downloading and installing an add-on is simple- Firefox has an inbuilt installer for add-on. All you need to do is click on the download link, and the add-ons organizer does the rest.
1.) To find new add-ons in Firefox, Go to Tools>Add-ons or press “Ctr + Shift + A”. The manager will open in a new tab and then select “Get Add-ons”. You can view the featured choices, recommendation, install one of the featured and recommended add-ons or browse all the available add-ons by clicking “Browse all add-ons”.
2. You can browse the full selection by category and install new add-on by clicking green “ Add to Firefox” button. Despite claims to contrary, many Firefox add-on still require to restart browser to complete installation.
3. Once the add-ons has been installed, a dedicated button may appear on your Firefox toolbar or a new option may added to the Right- Click context menu.
4. The Add-ons manager page lets you manage all the add-ons you have installed. From here you can disable, enable and uninstall an add-ons and open its options.
