Stop Google from tracking your Search habits


Google web history is a service that tracks what Google users do as they surf the web. Google treat sign in and sign out users differently. And, when you are logged in to your Google accounts, all search queries and results that a user clicks on are recorded by Google web history. While this is useful but some times you may not want people glancing over your shoulder to see what you have been looking for. over your shoulder want Google to track what you are searching for ? To disable web history and  maintain privacy, read the instructions below :

Disable Google to track your web activity : Go to Google web history , you will see a button to “Pause Web History”, click on it to disable the history feature. Clicking on ““Pause Web History”, will not clear content from history. You will also see a list of every entries you’ve ever searched for, order by date and time. Select and remove entries from the list.google history

Why you need to disable Google Web history : The search results will no longer be ranked the same way for every user. It affects search engine ranking for a particular user. Users will see the results most relevant to them or the sites user visits most frequently. As most of  people are not aware about this feature, this may introduce a potential privacy problems for them.
