Google has always some nifty logos on its homepage on all festive and important occasions.
Today,Google is featuring Popeye the sailor on its logo to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the birth of the EC Segar ( Elzie Crisler Segar) an American cartoonist and Creator of Fictional comic character “ Popeye the sailor ” .
On 30 Aug 1998,the first Google doodle was designed by company co-founders ( i.e. Larry page and Sergey brin) to notify users of their absence in case the servers crashed .The first Google Doodle was based on a an annual event known as Burning Man festival that is held in Nevada ( United sates).
