Quickly Add a Website Search in Firefox Search Bar

Firefox gives you the ability to easily add more search engines by creating plug-ins. Building a Firefox search  engine is seems a bit time consuming when there is an Firefox add-on that can make this task more easier, just by a few mouse clicks.

Add to Search Bar is a time saving add-on. It save your time in two ways :

  • You don’t need to develop a Firefox search engine for every website you want to be added on search bar in your Firefox browser.
  • You can add any search engine in a few moments, by placing cursor on a search box visible on a webpage then adding to search bar on the top right of the browser with right and left mouse clicks ( as I‘ve shown in the dynamic image below ) .

You can add popular web search  such as Twitter, Digg, YouTube, Technorati, Google, Dictionary.com, Creative Commons etc as well as  search box available on a particular website/web services and even customized Google search available on blogs. [ Add-on page ] Thanks to developer for creating such a handy add-on.
