How to Install WordPress blog on your local computer

WordPress is an easy to install, highly customizable content management system, widely used by professionals for creating and managing blogs. As a WordPress user, you always need to edit and make changes to keep your WordPress blog live.

Once you select the blog tab available on the left side, a list get displayed, scroll down to find WordPress in the list. Click on “install”, all the programs and tools needed by WordPress will be automatically added to the install list for installation.

After installation, wizard will ask you to fill specific information about your site.So,wizard can create a MySQL database for your WordPress blog. Now, you are just few steps away from the complete installation .

When everything is installed, just enter “http://localhots/wordpress/wp-login.php” in the address bar of your browser. Now, you only have to follow the instructions to configure and connect WordPress same as you watched in the video tutorial above and voila, you are done..

You can now apply tweaks as well as preview changes locally prior to making changes on your blog online.

      Thanks for Suggestion. I have been tweaking Innolea design for past few days. I am also thinking to add categories on sidebar and featured post section soon, so that visitors and readers can find their favorite topics easily.
